I'm Baaaack!

It's been a 3 month blog hiatus. I think it's the longest that I've been AWOL in the blogging world. We've had a lot going on in our lives and not a lot of time to blog. It also doesn't help that my laptop hasn't been working in a very long time so I've had to use my son's laptop. And when he's not using it, I only have time to check my emails.

Here is a shortened version of what's been going on in our lives since I last blogged:

Had some health issues in March- feeling a lot better now.

We're getting ready to move again- our 5th move in 6 years. At least we'll be moving closer to where RM works which is 3 hours away from our present home. We move at the end of June. And there is a possibility that we'll be moving again out of state early part of next year. I've learned to just take it...one move at a time. Every move is an adventure!

We celebrated Easter, just the three of us. I was debating whether to get Moe an Easter Basket since he's practically an adult now, and then finally decided everyone likes to get candy, regardless of age. It was the right decision- he loved his Easter Basket!

And we celebrated Moe's 19th birthday! Moe's favorite thing to eat is Chinese food. When he was younger he used to tell that he wished he lived in China so he could eat rice and chow mein every day.

It's hard for RM to accept that Moe is almost 3 inches taller than him. So RM has always joked to Moe and said, "It doesn't matter how much taller you are than me, I'm still the boss."

My brother and his family lives out of state and stayed with us for a week in April. They wanted to celebrate their youngest son's first birthday with us.

Here's the birthday boy- my nephew. He always gets excited when he sees a ball. So I went to the store and bought him several balls- I think I became his favorite person that day.

(My funny nephew loves climbing up the stairs, but doesn't know how to get down, which is why he's screaming. My niece thought it was funny and decided to scream with him.)

RM and I baby sat my brother's kids for a day so that him and his wife could go out by themselves. My brother has three kids. Their ages are 7, 5, and 1 years old. Though we had a blast being with them, at the end of the day we were exhausted!

Last week we had RM's brother and his family visit us from Southern California. We had so much fun with them! We spent most of the time just hanging out at our home and of course we did a lot of eating too!

Since Moe is an only child, he always gets excited when we have family come to visit. It doesn't matter what his cousins ages are, Moe's always able to have fun with them. He's always told us that he wants to marry a girl who has lots of siblings especially brothers.

** That's about it in a nutshell. It's been a crazy, fun, and busy time for us. Hopefully once my laptop is fixed, I'll be able to blog more often. And I forgot to mention that I had a great Mother's Day which deserves it's own entry- stay tuned for that one.

(P.S. I want to put my entries into a blog book, anyone have any recommendations- I've got 3 years worth of entries to put together!)

I've put my blog into a book through blurb and blog2print. blurb looks better, but takes a little more work on your part to arrange it. Blog2print does it all for you and I still think it looks nice. Sorry about your health issues, hopefully everything is better now! Glad to see you back on the blog!!
