When I first met RM, he had a reputation of a "bad boy". Some of my friends were worried that I would get my heart broken and that he would be a bad influence. Since I was having too much fun dating and wasn't looking for a serious relationship- I wasn't worried.
On our first date, RM took me out to dinner and then we went to a bakery to pick out a birthday cake for his aunt. This so called "bad boy" didn't seem so....bad.
Two days later we went on a second date and this time it didn't feel like a date- it felt as if we had known each other our entire lives. There were no awkward small talk and I didn't feel the need to fill the moments of silence with constant chatter.
For the first time on a date, I felt comfortable being ME. And being with RM felt like home- he was a warm blanket on a cold winter night. I knew my serial dating days were coming to an end.
Two weeks later, RM proposed... and the rest is history.

Since RM would be out of town for Valentine's Day, we celebrated yesterday. He called me this morning to wish me a Happy Valentine's day and then I went downstairs and saw this post-it note on our refrigerator.

SOLID HEARTS.
I loved that first picture.
You have had a rough few weeks! How is your son doing now? I can't imagine how scared you must have felt. I'm sorry to hear about your sons coach. I truly hope M is healing well and you are all getting some rest. I loved hearing about your first date and I love your darling picture.
