I love weddings, especially when it involves one of your family members. RM's nephew Edward, finally tied the knot to his long time girlfriend Alexis.
After many years of going to high school and college graduations of our nieces and nephews, it was very different to attend one of our nephews wedding. Edward's the first among our nieces and nephews to get married and definitely not the last.
I love how weddings makes you reflect on the day you were married. You can't help but look at the happy couple and reflect on your own marriage- most of them all good.
I love that weddings are also a time to catch up with other family members that you haven't seen in a long time.
I watched how Moe interacted with his cousins and was constantly amazed how grown up they are. The nieces and nephews pictures above are all attending college- it feels like it was just yesterday that RM and I were babysitting them!
And though we don't get to see our nieces and nephews very often, the great memories and love that we have for them, always remain strong.
(The couple in between RM and I is RM's older brother Greig and his wife Racheal)
I love that weddings often unite family members and brings out the best in everyone.
Weddings can also bring out the silliness in others. Can you tell how much RM LOOOOOVES cupcakes?
I also love Photo shop. Though you're always happy to see most of the family, there's always that obnoxious family member that you wish didn't attend. (You know you have one in your family too!)
So with the magic of Photo shop, you can completely crop them out of the picture (like the picture above) and pretend that they were never there.
Yes, weddings are magical. It softens the hearts and brings out the smiles in every one....including that obnoxious family member.
