Update on Moe

Moe was back home to recover until he started to complain about back pain. It became to be so painful that he could hardy breathe, he was rushed back to emergency room. It seems that Mitchell is experiencing a rare side effect from his spinal tap.

He was transferred from our local hospital to another hospital in a nearby city that has a neurosurgeon on staff and the proper equipment to monitor him. The doctors don't know if the pain that Moe is experiencing is inflammation around his spine or hematoma, a blood clot near the spine . They won't know anything until the results come in from his MRI.

RM cut his business trip short so he's here.

If it is hematoma, Moe will need surgery. We find out this afternoon if surgery is needed.

RM & I debated whether to leave M0e last night, but he insisted that we go home and get some rest. I knew that he was right, whatever the news- we need to be rested.

The neurosurgeon we met last night seemed optimistic. Though Moe has been in constant pain and has been on morphine since he was hospitalized, his spirits are up.

RM and I were able to sleep and feel rested.

We both feel that Moe will be fine and pull out of this.

We'll keep everyone updated.
